Newcastle Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has a membership made up of local people, patients, volunteers and staff. As a Member you will receive a certificate of membership, an invitation to special events to show you what goes on behind the scenes at the hospitals, our newsletter keeping you up-to-date with plans and developments, the opportunity to join specific projects where your views on our services will offer a valuable perspective, vote for your representatives on the Council of Governors and stand for election to the Council of Governors yourself. Volunteers are automatically enrolled as Members. Your details will be held securely by the Chief Executive’s Office and you will only be contacted about issues relating to your membership of the Trust.
