Information on a potential unauthorised data access
5th August 2026 • NewsWe have been made aware of a recent data security incident involving Beacon CRM, the platform that holds our database.
Beacon is currently investigating and our teams are working closely with them to understand the nature of the incident and implement response measures.
We have contacted our supporter database directly and will be keeping this page up to date with further information as it becomes available.
What action is being taken
Beacon is currently conducting an investigation with external cyber security specialist and working with relevant authorities and regulators as required.
They are also completing precautionary security measures and monitoring online activities.
We continue to monitor the situation closely and have the appropriate controls and protections in place. We will provide a further update when more information is available.
We have also reported this issue to the ICO and the Charity Commission.

There is nothing you need to fix or change right now but please know we will never email or text you to ask for payment details or passwords.
