Sponsorship opportunities

Every child deserves to experience the magic of the festive season. But for many children, this time of year will be spent in a hospital bed rather than at home around the tree.

By becoming a sponsor, you can deliver joy, laughter, and comfort directly to our children’s wards. You could fund festive entertainment and magical visits.

Together, we can replace the clinical sounds of the ward with the joy of creativity, helping young patients rewrite their hospital stay through imagination, music, and play.

Ready to bring the magic?

We are collecting stationery donations to complete our ‘Time to Draw’ booklets, a creative book of activities enabling Newcastle Hospitals patients and staff to draw for pleasure, to pass the time, to play, and to bring calm in the moment in this bustling season.

Bring the magic of the festive season straight to patients and hardworking NHS staff who need it most. By pledging £500, your business can fund festive decorations to turn a clinical ward into a warm, joyful winter wonderland.

Even better? Your team will get the exclusive opportunity to volunteer and physically transform the space yourselves! It is the ultimate festive team-building activity that boosts corporate morale while creating a cozy, uplifting, and safe environment for patients and staff.

You gift would provide a fully funded, dedicated, month-long storytelling programme delivered by Seven Stories, the National Centre for Children’s Books. Throughout December, you can bring wonder directly to the children’s bedside, providing a vital escape into a world of magic and books for children undergoing treatment.

Being in hospital over Christmas means missing out on school plays, festive concerts, and holiday crafting at home. A gift of £1,500 funds a dedicated arts or music trolley that travels straight to children’s bedsides throughout December. Packed with festive craft kits, musical instruments, and holiday cheer, this mobile hub ensures no child misses out on the creative magic of Christmas. It gives young patients a vital creative escape, filling the wards with festive song, laughter, and bright holiday artwork.

When we think of hospitals at Christmas, our minds naturally go to the children spending their holidays in a ward. But behind every patient is a team of dedicated, hardworking NHS staff. Teams work around the clock—giving up Christmas dinners, festive mornings with their own families, and well-deserved rest to care for others.

The festive season is one of the most rewarding times to work on the wards, but it is also one of the most emotionally and physically exhausting.  A gift of £2,000 will fully fund vital staff wellbeing opportunities throughout December, ensuring our incredible hospital teams are supported, valued, and cared for while they care for others.

A hospital stay at Christmas can often feel isolating, and the holidays can be equally intense for the dedicated NHS staff working around the clock. A gift of £3,500 funds the dedicated creative time to design and illustrate a bespoke festive art booklet for patients and staff.

For children confined to their beds, it offers a magical, quiet escape from clinical routines. For staff working through the holidays, it serves as a gentle tool to connect with patients, bring smiles to the wards, and provide a moment of festive mindfulness during long winter shifts.

No one wants to spend the festive season in a hospital bed, missing out on holiday concerts and family carol singing. That’s why we are launching a dedicated festive live music programme to bring the holiday spirit straight to those who need it most!

  • Five professional musical acts: Bringing high-quality, uplifting live performances directly to Newcastle Hospitals throughout December.
  • Music in every corner: From intimate acoustic sets inside ward bays and private cubicles to festive melodies in patient day rooms and main public areas.
  • A gift for everyone: This lively, soothing programme is designed to instantly brighten the patient experience and provide a much-needed boost to staff wellbeing during their holiday shifts.
