You are employed by the Trust and want to explore how to access charity funds for your idea of project.
At this time Newcastle Hospitals Charity can consider funding ideas and projects if we have funds which have been donated for purposes which match the project being proposed. This is due to the large value of support the charity has put into hospital wide projects for staff wellbeing and psychological support, and the annual Christmas lunch.
Please do not submit your idea or proposal without first contacting the charity’s funding and partnerships team on [email protected] or 0191 213 7235.
We will advise whether it is worth submitting a full proposal based on the funds we currently have, this may save you the effort of submitting a full proposal which the charity is not currently in a position to fund.
The next steps depend on how much funding you need to make your idea happen:
You need funding of up to £5,000 to make your idea happen You need funding of more than £5,000 but less than £100,000 to make your idea happenIf you have ideas or projects which will need funding of more than £100,000, please contact the Funding and Partnerships team. We can explain further how funding for these projects works but essentially, the Trust’s Charity Committee, main board and its executive team consider all higher value projects and advise the charity which of those are deliverable strategic priorities. The charity then works with the Trust to advise which of those priorities is most appropriate to receive the charitable funding available.
