You want to submit an idea for a project to the charity, either to the general funds available, or to use a named fund that you are aware of.

- You can submit an application at any time using our online process here
- You’ll get a decision back from the charity within 28 days if you are applying for less than £5,000, or within 12 weeks if you are applying for more than £5,000
- When you apply, the charity will ask you for a ‘cost code’ (ask us or the people who look after your department’s finance if not sure – it tells us where to send the funding to if the charity can support your idea)
- If the charity can support your idea, we’ll email to let you know the next steps
- You can then work with your department to spend the funding provided for your idea
