For this level of funding, you will need to have discussed your idea with your clinical board to get their support. It’s worth starting with either the Director of Operations, or if your proposal is of a clinical nature, you’ll need to run it by your Clinical Board Chair. Without the support of the clinical board, we will not be able to support your idea.
This route of funding can support ideas as varied as:
- medical equipment
- provision of music therapy
- purchase of lifecast simulation manikins to train staff
- funding the visit of the Dentaid Bus to foodbank users in the west end of the city.
Usually (but not always), these ideas will be funded from funds available to the charity which are directly relevant to the work of your clinical board.
We can only consider funding ideas and projects if we have donations for purposes which match the project being proposed.
Please do not submit your idea or proposal without first contacting our funding and partnerships team on [email protected] or 0191 213 7235.
We will advise whether it is worth submitting a full proposal based on the donations we currently have, this may save you the effort of submitting a full proposal which the charity is not currently in a position to fund.
You have discussed your idea with the charity’s funding and partnerships team and want to submit a project. The charity have confirmed there is a suitable fund which means your idea can be considered. If you are applying for funding for any art-based enhancements to the hospital environment (of any value), please read our ‘Arts in the Hospital Environment’ webpage.
