The exhibition, Handing on our History, will be returning to both RVI and Freeman, following the loan of the first display, to North Tyneside Libraries.
This new display will feature portraits of Newcastle Hospitals Trust staff, as well as ‘blue light’ colleagues from Northumbria Police, Tyne & Wear Fire & Rescue Service and the North East Ambulance Service.
Artists, Richard Bliss & Phyllis Christopher, engaged with staff to find out what Pride means to them, at the Northern Pride ‘Blue Light Breakfast’ 2023. Their words will also be included in the exhibition.
This project has arisen through the proactive work of our Pride Staff Network, supported through the Newcastle Hospitals Charity Arts Programme.
