Mini runners (ages 3-8 years old) take on a 1.2km dash. Junior runners (ages 9-15 years old) will tackle a 4km challenge. It’s your chance to take on the course, soak up the famous Great North atmosphere, and discover your superpower.
We’d love for you to join Team NHC and fundraise to make a positive difference for the patients, staff, and communities of Newcastle Hospitals.

Orla’s story
We’re proud to fund projects to support the patients, families and staff across The Great North Children’s Hospital. This is only possible thanks to the generosity of our many supporters, donors and fundraisers. Often families choose to fundraise for us as a way to say thank you for the care and support their loved ones have received in our hospitals. Here Thomas shares why he decided to fundraise for the Great North Children’s Hospital.
