Celebrating Transplantation – A story of the NHS at its finest
We are thrilled to be able to showcase Dr Rachel Clarke’s story about the incredible series of events leading up to – and including – Max Johnson’s heart transplant at the Freeman Hospital in 2017, performed by world leading surgeon Mr Asif Hasan.
The conversation will be expertly led by Alfie Joey, with over 15 years’ experience as a BBC presenter, he has interviewed everyone from Prime Ministers, popstars, Oscar winners, Olympians, founders and philanthropists.
