Great North Run 2025

The Great North Run will take place on Sunday 7 September 2025. Join 60,000 runners at the world’s biggest and best half marathon, whether you are aiming for a personal best or have never run before and would like to achieve a half marathon this year, we are with you every step of the way.

Running for Newcastle Hospitals Charity makes you an important part of our team. You’ll make a positive difference for the patients, staff, and communities of Newcastle Hospitals in the home city of the Great North Run.

Joining our team

This year, we’ve experienced an incredible surge in interest from runners eager to join our Great North Run team, and we’re thrilled to announce that our charity places have now sold out. 

However, we do have a waitlist in place. If you’d like to be added and contacted should a spot become available, please sign up below.
