During the 2022 festive season we teamed up with local neonatal charity Tiny Lives – and our fantastic mutual supporters, Beauden Brave – to host the first ever Beauden Brave Sports Memorabilia Advent Calendar Raffle in memory of Beauden.
Thank you to everybody that supported this initiative by either buying a ticket, spreading the word or donating a prize. Your support continues Beauden’s legacy and we know that means everything to his family.
The raffle raised £3,220.00 which will be shared equally between the Tiny Lives Trust and Newcastle Hospitals Charity – the official charity for Newcastle Hospitals. These funds will be used to:
- support sick and premature babies, as well as their families through Tiny Lives at Ward 35 (RVI Neonatal Unit); and
- via Newcastle Hospitals Charity support end of life care on Ward 35 (RVI Neonatal Unit), care of babies with genetic conditions and care for people with Myotonic Dystrophy (the condition Beauden had).
We hope to bring the Advent Calendar Raffle back for the 2023 festive season, so make sure to follow the Tiny Lives Trust and Newcastle Hospitals Charity on social media to stay up to date.
If you’re a current/former athlete or sports club and would like to donate a prize for 2023, please contact [email protected] (Beauden’s Daddy).
