Newcastle Hospitals Charity are hoping to keep staff and their families active this December by challenging them to the ‘12K at Christmas’ Flourish Fitness Challenge in partnership with Newcastle Hospitals Charity.
This is the second in a series of monthly fitness challenges aimed at harnessing team spirit and increasing activity levels, at a time where being active is more important than ever for general wellbeing.
The challenge is to run, walk, jog swim, or cycle a total of 12K during the month of December. For those who are looking for an extra challenge, there is the opportunity to up the challenge to ‘12K’ per week, a ‘12K’ run or a SYO (set your own) challenge.
This festive challenge is fun for all the family and includes a special 5K challenge and colouring-in activity for children to earn a Great North Children’s Hospital Fudge mascot badge.
