We have an exciting new competition for all football fans! Sir Bobby called our fund, The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation, his last and greatest team. Now, you can support our work in finding more effective ways to detect and treat cancer by trying to pick his best team ON the pitch.
What is the competition?
Just £5 to enter, this fun competition could win you fantastic prizes from the Great Run Company, including a VIP 2023 Great North Run experience – with a helicopter ride to the finish line!
Running the GNR this year is Sir Bobby’s Team – made up of experienced sports journalists. They have put their heads together to come up with Sir Bobby’s ultimate starting line-up from players he led over time. To win this competition, all you have to do is guess their line up, using a 3 4 3 formation and a shortlist of players.
This shortlist has the blessing of Sir Bobby’s family who know that, with such limited numbers and such a wealth of talent to choose from, some extremely difficult decisions were taken in selecting players.
How to enter
Test your football knowledge and select your own Sir Bobby Team – goalkeeper, three defenders, four midfielders and three up front – and help support the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation in the process.
