Twelve months on from receiving our first Covid patient on 31 January 2020, the staff of Newcastle Hospitals have been outstanding and compassionate throughout, and continually finding new ways to ensure that patients who are isolated from their families and friends do not feel alone.

We are encouraging people to show their support by donating to our Coronavirus Appeal. Every penny generously donated will be used to support patients and staff at Newcastle Hospitals.
We are so grateful for all the local people and businesses who have donated, given gifts in kind or shared messages of support on our social media in recent months.
Thanks to the pubic’s support we so far have been able to provide urgent items such as iPads for patients to communicate with their loved ones and care packs for our staff.
Your kindness and generosity have helped our staff to get through these difficult times and it has been wonderful to see you all come together for our teams in the community, and in the hospitals.
