Kind-hearted Siân Fox is embracing her Christmas spirit in a big way this December, embarking on a 14-day Festive Jumper challenge to raise funds for Newcastle Hospitals Charity.
Siân was inspired after her Mam, Kim Scott, was sadly hospitalised at Newcastle’s Freeman Hospital. Seeing the care received by her Mam, Sian wanted to give back and raise some funds to help brighten the hospital for Newcastle Hospitals staff – and patients like Kim – at this very special time of year.

“Christmas is magical. As a family, we’ve previously lost loved ones at this time of year which just made us more determined to celebrate together every year. After moving in with my partner, who really loves Christmas too, our house becomes a bit of a Christmas grotto every year….”
“This year, my Mam will most likely spend Christmas in the Freeman Hospital. Whilst visiting them, I saw the Festive Fundraiser posters. I wanted to take part and do something fun for the charity to give back to the staff for their hard work. I decided to start my Christmas Jumper Challenge because I own far too many Christmas jumpers, even the dog has one!”
“I hope others enjoy the fun aspect of this, embrace the festive spirit and can spare some money to help this great cause.”

We are so grateful to Siân for her kindness in taking on this challenge to raise funds for Newcastle Hospitals Charity – and we can’t wait to see all of her jumpers!
So far, Siân has raised an amazing £300.00. You can support her here.
